Ministry to implement the State Anti-Inflation Programme with the Bank of Irad

The Office of the Lieutenant Governor has announced that the State Anti-Inflation Programme will take effect on 1 January 2027, with the Ministry of Economy and the Bank of Irad as the implementing bodies.

The ministry will publish a monthly table of the prices of staple goods, among them bread, potatoes, diesel and imported goods sold in som, and will report on proposals to curb imports, on bazaar margins and on fuel pricing. The full text of the Programme will be published before 1 January.
